Thwaite Cottage is set in a peaceful wooded garden some 100 metres down a lane from the road that links Coniston to the head of the Lake. There is ample parking.

It is only a short stroll into the busy centre of the village with its shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants, or to the Lake and Boating Centre.

 

 

 

It is perfectly situated for hiking the Coniston Fells, as the first stop on the Cumbria Way or a base for exploring the Lake District.
